PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
The only optional add on we offer is for those who want to document the moment with professional photography. But even that experience we take to the next level. Your fiancé will never know there is a photographer onboard until the moment s/he says yes!
The photographer is introduced as crew. They will even dress and “work” as crew but be poised on the ready with professional gear to whip out at the big moment and document in professional style.
You book and pay for photography separately. We will provide details.

HOW DO I PLAN A PROPOSAL ON A BOAT IN SAN DIEGO?
You've come to the right place. Meant to Be, On the Sea is San Diego's only private yacht charter experience purpose-built exclusively for couples looking to get engaged on a sunset cruise or day cruise.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSAL CRUISE?
Your private boat rental is completely exclusive and inclusive to just the two of you. We include a three-hour cruise of San Diego Bay, a licensed Captain, a bottle of Moet champagne, a fresh charcuterie platter and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Plus a special gift!
HOW MUCH DOES THE PROPOSAL CRUISE COST?
Our complete and curated experience costs $1,150 and includes everything you need for a private and posh proposal on a boat in San Diego. Our experience already includes all the items that others only offer as add-on extras, making it completely seamless.
CAN I ARRANGE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER TO JOIN US?
Absolutely - many couples opt for this and this is our only "optional" add on. We work with a curated selection of talented photographers who are trained and experienced to shoot on a moving boat - and you will not know they are actually photographers until the big moment, as we present them a regular "crew" when you arrive. This keeps the suprise under wraps!
WILL THE CAPTAIN TAKE PHOTOS?
Yes of course the Captain will do his best to take photos. Please keep in mind his primary job is safety for you and the boat and those on the water around you. But our Captains are adept at shooting when its safe so that you can have some amazing memories captured.
